About Us

We are Addison and Alix. We're a young married couple that loves to travel. Collectively, we have a pretty large family. Destination Earth is our way of sharing our trips and our lives with family, friends, and anyone else that wants to see what we get up to. We'll share what life is like in different places around the world and definitely keep people updated on our adventures.

Generally, we're somewhat laid back and introverted folks. We enjoy doing whatever we're presented with and will try anything twice! We count ourselves as extremely lucky to be in a situation that allows up to travel and experience the world.

Who is Addison?

Addison is in his mid-20's and works as a freelance web developer as well as an entrepreneur. He is always looking for new perspectives and skills, which traveling helps to provide. He grew up all around the US, primarily living in Michigan but also in Oregon, California, and North Carolina.

Fun facts:

His favorite outdoor activity is swimming.
His favorite state is Oregon.
He loves architecture and tall buildings.
He collects archaic writing utensils; currently consisting of several typewriters and fountain pens.

Who is Alix?

Born in raised in small-town Michigan, Alix left home to attend university. Still only a few hours from home, she met Addison and soon after began traveling with him. Just after turning 20, she graduated with a double major in psychology and criminal justice. Currently, she teaches English as a second language in China. She is trying to figure what she wants to do for a living.

Fun facts:

She loves pets of all types, but especially rats.
Her favorite country is Norway.
She collects small (fake) frogs, stuffed animals, and pressed pennies.
Her favorite game is Arkham Horror.
